It is located on the coast between Fraserburgh & Banff, in the NE corner of Scotland. This is a beautiful area, with many fishing villages and harbours dotted along the coastline. Local fishermen still use the harbour, which can become quite busy in the summertime. They catch lobster, crab, squid and mackerel. The village is built beneath red sandstone cliffs which provide shelter in the winter. It is a peaceful place to live, although the community spirit is very lively.

Number 12 Seatown is around 300 years old and has been beautifully restored keeping many of its original features. It has been refurbished throughout with a modern, yet homely feel. The fully-fitted kitchen has all modern amenities including oven, hob, microwave, washing machine and integrated fridge/freezer. The bedroom has a king-size bed, original fireplace, dressing table and a lovely view of the sea. The sofa-bed in the living room can comfortably sleep another two guests. Ample bed linen & towels are provided as standard. In the bathroom, I’m sure you will take advantage of the under floor heating – especially during the winter months. The living room is light and snug with a wood burning stove as a centre point. There is a private garden to the rear of the cottage where you can sit and watch the fishing boats at sea.
